Opened in 2009 the River Rat Cellar and Kitchen offers fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of the famous sailing village of Hamble.
Our menus are created and developed by our head Chef David Dunn, trained at The Montague Arms and then Chewton Glen. Prepared using modern and classical cooking techniques with various International influences to create an ever changing offering of beautifully presented and truly loved selection of courses.
Our wine list brings together the best of the old world and the new world, with wines not available in the supermarkets. Our knowledgeable staff can advise you on the perfect wine to pair with your menu choices.
We also have a wine shop offering a wide range of wines, from some great value wines at £5.99 to more unusual wines that you won't find on the high street.
